Another wall removal project is taking place. The home owner wanted to remove two massive walls removed and have the beams sunked into the ceiling in their place. The only way to do it was to use steel beams (per our engineer’s recommendation). Each one of those beams will weight 48lbs per foot. And those are 20ft beams. So 20ft x 60 lb is roughly 1000lbs per beam to raise up into the ceiling. We are going to have fun today!!
